Just Another Reason to Fear Southland Tales

My friend Jeremy flipped through the first of the graphic novels that have been released as a lead-in to Richard Kelly's probably gonna be horrendous motion picture Southland Tales.

In doing so he came across the following line of dialogue that he believes is spoken by the character who will be inhabited by The Rock in the film:

"I am a pragmatic prevaricator, with a propensity for oratorical seniority,
which is too pleonastical to be assimilated by any of your unequivocal
veracities."

The Acceptance Speech Would Be Longer Than the Performance

Yet another reason why the Emmy awards are ridiculous. Apparently you can be nominated for a performance that has as much screen time as that lady gets in the HeadOn commercial (applied directly to the forehead)

Regardless of one's opinion of the film, this is a fine piece questioning why The Searchers stands as one of the great American films.
