Why Bush is "Reading" French Existentialism

This story asks the question, but isn't it obvious that the reason is because of the appearance the book makes in Talladega Nights? Either the President was curious after seeing the movie, or - more likely - the Oval Office thought it would be a good PR move to ride the coattails of the very successful film.
